How we tested the podcast apps
All podcast apps have some basic features to faciliate searching for your favourite shows and listening to podcasts. If you listen to lot of podcasts, you need the ability to organize them, so that you can find your shows and episodes faster by using features like playlists and folders. Some podcasts have low audio and having volume boost feature would improve your listening experience. In some podcasts, hosts take long pauses in audio. By trimming those silences, you can save a lot of time. We analyzed more than 20 podcast players for all these features and these are the six apps that have come on top.
